PRESENTATION OF THE RESULTS OF THE RESIDENCE WITHIN MOFU
From June 2021, the results of the local residency Modernism for the Future 360/365 were presented in the Hallets tenement. The work took place in the entire apartment, installations were created from household items and paper relief prints implemented in the interior. For the public presentation, access was opened to only one room where the main installation was mounted. The paper composition reproduces the motif of the traditional Mizrah (a decorative panel cut out of paper on a wall in a synagogue or private house facing the Temple Mount in Jerusalem). The placement of the object is not accidental: it is at the place of the installation that in the past there was an entrance to another room and a terrace - the lost part of the house, facing the side of the High Castle mountain. The presentation of the project at Knyazha 16, in particular the installation, was a continuation of the discussion that developed during the residency itself while working with the residents of Lviv's modernist buildings. Lively discussion of the artistic and research component of the residency created a feeling of the beginning of a new phase of the project's life, rather than its completion.
